01/ THE SHORT WALK
Son Blanc Farmhouse to the cliff
view point
Son Blanc Farmhouse to the cliff view point
This is a short walk not to be missed if you would like to reach an impressive view point looking out onto cliffs, ravines, and sea. The 180 panoramic views are spectacular!
Walk past the restaurant and turn left walking through the olive groves. Head up to the wooden gate and make sure to close it so the sheep don’t escape. Follow up the path and pass the second wooden gate (also keep closed). Carry on the same path guided by the trail boards until you reach the pine forest (heading roughly left).
At the end of it, you will see Son Blanc Farmhouse behind you on your left, keep on following the path until you reach the top of the cliff and the crumbling stone wall at the top of it (please mind your step). Look out for the eagles and enjoy the stunning view over the crops at the bottom of the ravines, the swamps from Son Bou and the turquoise Med.
Approx. 2.3km there and back (45 mins). this route can also be cycled.

02/ THE LONG WALK
Son Blanc Farmhouse 360 tour
This is our immersive walk into a rich mix of Menorcan natural habitats: you will walk through our crops, cross an oak tree forest with mysterious rock formations, meet the herds of wild goats and hike along the endless dry stone walls “pared seca” and different kinds of vegetation and never see a sign of modern civilisation.
Leave the hotel by the entrance path and walk towards the farmstead entrance gate (the one with the code). Turn left just before it at the iron gate (please close it) and walk down the trail towards the oak forest. Cross the bridge over the dried stream and continue to walk downhill until you are out of the forest.
At that point turn left following the path through the cultivated land and with cliffs at either side of you. Take a moment to look at the cliff on your right and you may see the face of cat naturally carved into the rock. At the end of the field, get back onto the path along the “pared seca” wall and start your ascent back towards the finca.
Once you reach the intersection, you can either choose to come back following the trail leading from the gate to the left (walk through the pine tree forest that eventually will lead you back to the restaurant area) or carry on to your right up the hill, until you reach the final gate back into the farm’s gardens. If you follow this option, you will see olive groves, fig trees and carob trees on your left before you head back to the hotel and our orchard and vegetable patch on the right.
